The Amara Resort is situated in a quiet and leafy area of Kalaw. Built like a lovely French Cottage this 100 years old house was lovingly restored in 2002 and now offers 4 cozy rooms with fireplace.
Backed by gracious and personal service the Amara is a wonderful bed and breakfast property.
Surrounded by matured woodland and colorful floral the Amara enjoys a private and secluded location and is only a short drive to Kalaw center.
The town of Kalaw is about 40 km or 1½ hours drive from Heho Airport and 45 km from Inle Lake.

There are two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. All rooms are tastefully decorated with antique and rattan furniture. The spacious bathroom features shower with small step up marble tub.

The living room is a grand area beautifully furnished with antiques and Burmese decors.
When it comes to meals, there are set times for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals can be enjoyed in the small but cozy dining room or in the comforts of your room. There is a vegetable garden and an outdoor patio where guests can enjoy the lovely scenery and a casual drink.
