How to get there

Nakhonratchasima
By Car - You can take 3 routes. The most popular one from Bangkok is to take Highway No. 1 (Phahon Yothin) then Highway No. 2 (Mittraphap) at Saraburi to Nakhon Ratchasima. The total distance is 259 kilometres.

Another route from Bangkok is to take Highway No. 304 past Min Buri, Chachoengsao, Phanom Sarakham, Kabin Buri, Pak Thong Chai, to Nakhon Ratchasima. The total distance is 273 kilometres.

Alternatively, take the Bangkok-Rangsit-Nakhon Nayok route then connect to Highway No. 33 to Kabin Buri, then go on to Highway No. 304 past Wang Nam Khiao, Pak Thong Chai and into Nakhon Ratchasima.

Khon Kaen

By Bus - Buses depart from Bangkok’s Mochit 2 Bus Terminal to Khon Kaen every day.

By Rail - Regular trains depart from Bangkok’s Hua Lamphong Railway Station to Khon Kaen every day.

By Air - Thai Airways flies from Bangkok to Khon Kaen every day.

Loei

By Car - 1. From Bangkok, take Highway No. 1 to Saraburi and Highway No. 21 via Phetchabun and continue the trip along Highway No. 203 via Lom Sak, Dan Sai and Phu Ruea to Loei, a total distance of 520 kilometres.

2. From Bangkok, take Highway No. 1 to Saraburi and Highway No. 2 via Nakhon Ratchasima to Khon Kaen, then continue driving along Highway No. 12 via Chum Phae before turning left into Highway No. 201 and proceed to Loei via Wang Saphung.

By Bus - Buses depart from Bangkok’s Mochit 2 Bus Terminal to Loei every day.

By Rail - Regular trains depart from Bangkok’s Hua Lamphong Railway Station to Bua Yai Railway Station which is 51 kilometres from Chaiyaphum.

By Air - Visitors can fly from Bangkok to Phetchabun or Udon Thani and continue the trip to Loei by bus.

Ubon Ratchthani

By Car - 1. From Bangkok, take Highway No. 1 to Saraburi and Highway No. 2 to Nakhon Ratchasima, then use Highway No.226 to Ubon Ratchathani via Buri Ram, Surin and Si Sa Ket, for a total distance of 629 kilometres.

2. From Bangkok, take Highway No. 1 and Highway No. 2 till arriving Sikhio, then turn into Highway No. 24 and proceed to Ubon Ratchathani via Chok Chai, Nang Rong, Prasat, Det Udom and Warin Chamrap.

By Bus - Buses depart from Bangkok’s Mochit 2 Bus Terminal to Ubon Ratchathani every day.

By Rail - Regular trains depart from Bangkok’s Hua Lamphong Railway Station to Ubon Ratchathani every day.

By Air - Thai Airways has several daily flights connecting Bangkok with Ubon Ratchathani.

Udon Thani

By Car - From Bangkok, take Highway No. 1 to Saraburi and Highway No. 2 to Udon Thani via Nakhon Ratchasima and Khon Kaen, a total distance of 564 kilometres.

By Bus - Bangkok-Udon Thani buses depart from Bangkok’s Mochit 2 Bus Terminal every day.

There are buses running between Udon Thani and other provinces such as Nong Khai, Loei, Khon Kaen, Sakon Nakhon, Nakhon Phanom and Ubon Ratchathani. The buses leave Udon Thani Bus Terminal every 40 minutes.

By Rail - Trains depart from Bangkok’s Hua Lamphong Railway Station to Udon Thani every day.

By Air - Thai Airways has several daily flights connecting Bangkok with Udon Thani.

Phuket Air provides daily flight services from Bangkok to Udon Thani.
